Accurate Drafting’s as-built services include development of floor plans, roof plans, exterior elevations, interior elevations or sections as required for commercial, industrial and residential buildings or projects.

Floor Plans – Detailed plans outline structural information like walls, windows, doors, exposed vertical columns or posts and stairs. Residential properties also include any built-in cabinets/counters, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and ceiling heights.

Roof Plans – Drawing of top/plan view includes roof, eaves, valleys, pitch, ridges, hips, parapets, fireplaces/chimneys, ventilation, skylights and other attached major structures. Requires floor plan.

Exterior Elevations – Detailed drawings of the vertical planes of building exterior – including doors, windows, roof, trim, and any other attached features. Requires floor plan and roof plan.

Interior Elevations or Sections – Detailed drawings of the vertical planes of building interiors including doors, windows, trim, built-ins, appliances, stairs and ceiling details. Requires floor plan.

Electrical Plan – Includes outlets, switches, data jacks, panels, meters, lighting and other electrical fixtures and systems for visible items only. Requires floor plan and is not a wiring schematic.

Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) – Detailed plan of ceiling including soffits, coffers, exposed beams and other structural data, as well as fixtures including lights, vents and safety/fire equipment. Requires floor plan.

Foundation and Framing – Key structural details for foundation walls, footings and framing including size, direction and spacing of floor, ceiling and roof joists. Requires floor plan.

Square Footage Plan – Includes a detailed square footage analysis and certification for building measurement using standard metrics such as gross building area, usable and rentable areas and load factors for commercial buildings.

Accurate Drafting is experienced working on existing as-built projects. As part of our service offerings, we will send our team on-site or in the field to ensure all measurements and date collected are exact. Whether you have an existing facility that requires complete recording, or just need to update files and drawings during construction or for renovations – we will be on-site to help.

Our services include complete indexing, cataloging and archiving systems to integrate with your document management system. We have also developed and use proprietary web-based Precision Facility Management Software so you have more control over your scans, electronic CAD files and data.

Accurate Drafting can also produce high-quality hard copy versions of all your files.

Accurate Drafting can produce exact AutoCAD conversions of your scanned or paper drawings quickly and efficiently. Our hands-on approach and quality control ensure the scale and line-detail are accurate and there is no distortion –  unlike automated scanning processes. Our CAD files can be separated into layers and exact details and measurements can be included.

We will also measure and check accuracy on-site or in the field, as required and offer complete indexing, cataloging and archiving systems to easily integrate with your document management system.
